NAMASTE, BITCHES Official Trailer

Last year I was asked to edit a six episode web comedy series about the underbelly of the yoga world. The show received acclaim from The New York Times, The Huffington Post and IndieWire (among others) and has been shown at film festivals from Los Angeles to Miami. I edited all six episodes along with the official trailer and teaser.

LINCOLN “The Art of Listening”

This film was shot on RED Dragon, edited in Adobe Premiere and colored in DaVinci Resolve 10.

A moment of inspiration can come at any time. Jazz musician Bruce Harris takes us through the streets of New York and into the sanctuary of a Lincoln vehicle to discuss space, material and texture: the most important elements to consider when creating and enjoying soulful music.

VOLVO “Los Olivos”

This is part two of a four part series for Volvo. Chef Jessica Roy travels up the coast of California, meeting with prominent chefs, restaurateurs and more. Episode two features the breathtaking Saarloos & Sons Vineyards, where Chef Jessica Roy has an unforgettable wine tasting session with owner Keith Saarloos. Next, she visits Mattei’s Tavern to experience Chef Robbie Wilson’s culinary creations.

The project was shot on RED and Blackmagic cameras. It was graded at Finish Post and mixed by Soundtrack, both in Boston, MA. Check out the other episodes here.

ST. LOUIS ZOO “Didja’ Know?”

This kid is so cute! This was my first scripted television commercial and it was a real pleasure to work on it. I decided to go out on a limb and cut this spot in Avid Media Composer. GATORADE “Bobby Hornsby: The Fighter”

This is a video I worked on for Gatorade. The editorial was done in Adobe Premiere Pro and the color grade was done in DaVinci Resolve 10.

Bobby Hornsby was born a fighter. Boxing became a way for him to channel the fight within. Despite countless struggles, he has pushed himself to become a champion. Bobby is just one inspirational athlete who truly defines what it means to Win from Within.

A commercial I worked on for the lovely health center Scripps in San Diego, CA.

This project was shot on an Arri Alexa with Cooke Mini Primes. The edit was completed in Adobe Premiere CC 2014. Finishing was done in DaVinci Resolve 10, Lustre and Flame.

New Balance “Beethoven”

New Balance, in an effort to highlight the release of the 990 sneaker, commissioned several videos that highlighted the process of its creation. “Beethoven” is the trailer for the online campaign, a look into the process of creating the mesh for the 990 and other NB shoes.There was something very choreographed about the process of making the meshes, a ballet of wheels and gears. Classical music was an obvious choice.

SapientNitro “Portfolio Night 2013”

Portfolio Night is a global event that puts young new designers in front of experienced Creative Directors. The CDs review the newbie’s work, comment on it and bestow advice to get their careers off the ground. Each office who was tasked with hosting the event made an original short film. SapientNitro decided to take the comical approach to emphasize the importance of idea over everything. Shot on a Saturday, Cut in Avid MC6 and graded in After Effects, this short took four days to create. It was the second most-viewed Portfolio Night video of 2013.
